Runch

Terms of Service

Last updated 27 July 2026

Agreement

By creating a Runch account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

Runch is for working professionals aged 18 or over. You must provide accurate information at sign-up (name, company, role, and — however you sign in — a LinkedIn profile URL) and keep it up to date.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or endanger other members.

Community conduct

Treat other members with respect. Runch has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You must not post, send, or share content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable, and you must not impersonate anyone or create fake profiles. Any member can report content or people, or block them, directly in the app. We review every report and remove offending content and the members responsible — usually within 24 hours. By using Runch you agree there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members.

Runs are between members

Hosts create runs; other members join at their own discretion. Runch does not organise, supervise, or guarantee any run. You are solely responsible for your own safety, fitness, and judgement when attending — running outdoors carries inherent physical risk (traffic, terrain, weather, and other hazards), which you assume by participating.

SOS safety feature

The SOS feature is an optional convenience to help members look out for each other during a run. When you trigger it, your last known location (if available) is sent to the other members of that run. It depends on your device having location and network access and is not guaranteed to be available or accurate at all times. SOS is not a substitute for calling emergency services (000) — always call 000 first in a genuine emergency.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post (profile info, photos, run posts, messages), but you give us the licence needed to store and display it within the app so the service can work. Do not post anything unlawful, infringing, or misleading.

Blocking & reporting

You can block or report other members from within the app. Blocking hides you and that member from each other across the app. Reports are reviewed by us; we do not guarantee a specific outcome or timeframe.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. This is immediate and irreversible. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. See how to delete your account.

"As is" service

Runch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the app or attendance at a run, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
